About Us...

Rubicon Katering & Sausage Haus, Inc. is a family owed and operated business for over 20 years. My name is Rebecca(Becky) Fischer. I am the current owner of the business. My Mom and Dad (Mary and Bob Pankow)started the catering business (originally know as Pankow Catering) in 1980. When my father pasted away 16 years ago, my brother, Marty Pankow took over the catering business, changed the name to Marty's Custom Catering Inc. and incorporated the catering business with his custom meat processing business. My brother, Marty, sold off his meat processing business in Fall of 2004. During the winter of 2004-05 he completely remodeled his former custom meat processing portion of the building into a new fully expanded catering kitchen. During the winter of 2007 I did some moving around of tables and added a bunker cooler and freezer unit, changed the name from Homestyle Katering by Marty's, Inc. and have now opened the “Sausage Haus”. Please see the pictures below of our expanded facility. My mom, Mary, is still involved in the day to day operation to ensure that the quality her and our dad established many years ago is pasted on and remains the heart of our business.

When we expanded the kitchen and sausage haus we also expanded our menu and added a variety of items that you would expect to see in a sausage haus. Take a minute to look over our expanded catering brochure and sausage haus information. As you can see we now are processing venison during bow and gun season. We accept your boneless venison year round for sausage.We still offer serving our delicious home cook catered meals at your event or, if you'd like, you can call to place a take out order. If you are unable to pick up your larger order, we do offer delivery for a minimal fee. We are also very excited to now offer Pig Roasts for your next get together.
